The hardest sentence first. Crypto prices can fall further and faster than you expect them to, and losing everything you put in is a possible outcome, not a formality at the bottom of a page. Opening an account is easy. Losing money is equally easy. Neither one has to wait for the other.
What this site does not do
- It is not an exchange, nor the official site or an authorised channel of one.
- It never holds, receives or handles anyone’s money or crypto.
- It gives no investment advice, recommends nothing to buy or sell, calls no trades and takes no view on price.
- It does not complete verification for you, file tickets for you, or touch anyone’s account in any way.
- It charges readers nothing; every sheet and both tools are open.
What is written here is procedure — what goes in which box and what to have ready. It is not a reason to do any of it. Whether to open an account, whether to buy anything and how much are yours to decide, and the consequences are yours as well.
Guides have a shelf life
Interfaces get redesigned. A button shown in this month’s screenshot may be renamed, moved, or folded into another step within a few more. We re-check and update, but an update always comes after the redesign, so there is a window in between when the sheet is behind.
Which is why the rule is always the live Binance page: what documents are required, how long a review takes, how the levels are divided and what each allows — read what it says now, not what we said then. Every screenshot here is dated to the month so you can judge its age yourself. If one no longer matches, tell us; we will fix it and log it on corrections.
Where you live decides a great deal
Jurisdictions differ sharply on crypto services. Some require the platform to be licensed, some restrict particular features, some make separate arrangements for local residents. The same platform therefore offers different accounts and different functions depending on the country you are in.
Some of that is stark rather than subtle: there are countries where Binance is not available to new users at all, and others where local access has been blocked or a service withdrawn. If you are reading from one of them, no amount of correctly prepared paperwork changes the answer, and that is worth establishing before you gather anything.
Look into the current rules where you live before you start, and take advice from a practising lawyer or tax adviser where it matters. Where a page does list countries, the list is dated and it is a snapshot; check your own country before acting on it, because rules change faster than pages do. Nothing here is legal, tax or compliance advice.
Verification has to be done with your own genuine, valid document. Borrowing someone else’s, forging or editing a document, opening an account for another person, or handing your account over to someone else risks losing the account at best and breaking the law where you live at worst. Nothing on this site is written to help anyone get around a review, and we do not write that sort of thing.
The tools are indicative
Both benches run in your browser against general, publicly reasoned criteria. When one says a photo looks fine, that is not a prediction that it will pass; when it says a photo has a problem, that is not a guarantee of rejection. The decision belongs to the platform’s review system and the people behind it. All the tools do is remove a few obvious problems in advance.

Those pages are not under our control, can change or disappear at any moment, and we are not answerable for what they become. One related habit worth keeping: a platform’s real pages live on its own domain, so read the address bar before you trust a page you reached through search.
